Introduction
Generally a go to quick solution for voltage regulation is a linear regulator. One such regulator is the standard 7805 which takes a range of input voltages and outputs the once widely used 5 volts. However, its method of conversion converts excess power as heat, wasting much essential battery power.
A switching regulator, or buck converter, through the use of two switches, a transistor and diode, capacitor and inductor can convert voltages with much higher efficiency.

One of the worst financial
One of the worst financial institution failures in history is that if IndyMac. The bank is now having charges brought against them that they gave out loans they knew were bad, contributing to our current financial crisis. I don' t know for certain, but shouldn't we be suing the individuals who didn't pay those loans back? We should hold those people more accountable than just giving them negative marks on their credit worthiness, because according to the charges being filed, these people already had bad credit making them a lending risk. Payday loans being given to low credit customers is a risk, but that doesn't mean the financial institution shouldn't sometimes take this risk?
